New York
Played New York on Monday night. It’s been a long time coming, and it felt great to be back in the States.
Loved the venue - Joe’s Pub – all intimate and red velvet.
I did the set just myself and Bastian. He being the multi talented person that he is, played bass, piano and second acoustic, as well as of course singing backing vocals beautifully. Always interesting to do the songs in new arrangements.
There was a great atmosphere in the audience. Many people stayed behind to get cds signed, and I learned that a lot of people had travelled considerable distances to be there; Louisiana, Arizona, New Mexico, Illinois, South Carolina, to name a few. Thank you for coming all that way, and to those who only had to travel a few blocks, thank you too!
